My Practice

British-born, Deborah has been surrounded by or practicing Yoga of various traditions for many years. As a Yoga therapist, she teaches people from 3 years old to 97 years young how to focus, sleep, and relieve physical or mental discomfort or illness. This has also included but is not limited to allergies, back pain, ADHD, cancer, chronic illness, high blood pressure, diabetes, dementia, and arthritis.

Deborah has also supported people with dementia, AIDS, and victims of domestic violence. Deborah has a BS in Social Work with an emphasis in Psychology from SUNY.

As a certified Integral Yoga™ teacher, Deborah has worked with both children and adults. Integral Yoga™ is a Hatha Yoga that is a gentle, non-competitive, and powerful approach to achieving mental and physical health throughout the body.

Deborah has trained in Yoga for Cancer Patients and Chronic Illness with Jnani Chapman, who has worked with Dr. Dean Ornish and Mr. Michael Lerner for many years. She has also worked at Arlington Memorial Hospital, Arlington, Texas, in the Intensive Cardiac Rehab Unit, teaching Yoga Stress Management for the Dean Ornish Reversing Heart Disease Program.

Simply put, Yoga is Deborahs' passion; its benefits balance both mind and body.
